Goit Stock Wood is a 70-acre ancient woodland located near Bingley in West Yorkshire. It's home to the beautiful Goit Stock Waterfall, which people have enjoyed visiting for hundreds of years.

But - the wood is up for sale and we're worried that it might not be properly looked after by whoever buys it. We think that the best way to make sure Goit Stock Wood and Waterfall can be enjoyed by visitors for generations to come is if it is owned by the local community.

Support our crowdfunding appeal today (our deadline is 12 September) to help us buy Goit Stock Wood for the community and protect it for future generations.

Donate £2794 (the equivalent to one acre of Goit Stock Wood) or more and if we are successful in buying the wood you will receive all of the following:

If we are successful in buying the wood we will contact you to confirm exactly how you would like your name to appear on the sign. You will be able to choose not to receive some or all of the items if you wish.
If we are not successful in buying the wood, and you donated through the links on this page, we will contact you to ask if you would like your donation to be refunded (see donation page for details).

Outside the UK?

We can accept donations from outside the UK, by credit/debit card. You will be charged in GBP (British Pounds) and the amount will be converted to local currency by your card provider. Fees may apply, check with your card provider for details.

We can send 'thank you' items to most countries supported by Royal Mail, although the recipient will be responsible for any import taxes/fees.

Please note that if we are unsuccessful in buying the wood, we will refund donations to a UK bank account.
