Just a quick few updates ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend...
This week we received a pledge for £5000, which is out biggest donation yet. Every donation is valuable but larger donations like this really help us get closer to our target quicker.
Anyone can donate any amount on our website, but if you are thinking about contributing a larger amount, please feel free to contact us (contact@goitstock.org.uk) to discuss making a pledge.
Although we thought we'd have to end ticket sales for the ceilidh this week, the venue and caterer have kindly agreed that we can continue selling tickets for a while longer. So if you haven't got yours yet and you (and maybe some friends?) want to join us for a fun evening on 5 September, head to our website to buy your tickets now!
We still have plenty of leaflets left to deliver to parts of Bingley and Saltaire/Shipley - if you'd be able to do some deliveries please let us know (amy@goitstock.org.uk). Thank you!
Next weekend (30 August) we'll be collecting donations and giving out information at Woodbank Garden Centre in Harden.
On 6 September we'll be outside at Darley St market in Bradford. And on 20 September we'll have a stall at the charity event at Saltaire Festival at Saltaire United Reformed Church.
Volunteers are welcome for all of these events - if you are willing to help (even if just for a couple of hours) please let us know.
