Here's some recent updates about our project.
The Telegraph & Argus have featured a story about our project and the support we have received from Anna Dixon, MP for Shipley constituency (which includes the wood). We have seen an influx of donations since this article was published, which is great news!
We are always happy to receive feedback, suggestions, and ideas from anyone, whether you live near Goit Stock Wood or have only visited once or twice - regardless of whether you're a fan of our project, or whether you have some concerns. It is best to contact us by email (contact@goitstock.org.uk) in the first instance, but if you would like to talk to one of us on the phone, or even meet up and discuss face-to-face, we can normally arrange that too. You can also call us on 01535 358101 - although as we are all volunteers with other things going on in our lives, you might need to leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we are able to.
At the end of August, to celebrate National Dog Day, our social media team shared #DogsOfGoitStock - some very cute pictures of our four-legged friends in the wood. Don't forget that we can be found on both Facebook and Instagram - the more people who can like, share and interact with our posts the better.
This is the final time we'll plug our ceilidh - since it is this week, on Friday 5 September, 7:30pm at Bradford & Bingley Sports Club.
We do have some tickets remaining, so please don't delay, buy yours now through our website. They are £17.50 each, which includes a hot supper. There are no booking fees!
If you already have bought tickets - great! - we look forward to seeing you there (why not invite some friends to come along?!)
