Here's some updates from the past week...

Saltaire Farmers' Market

We attended Saltaire Farmers' Market yesterday, and spoke to dozens of people about the project, which is a great way to widen the reach of our campaign. We had quite a few people sponsor a square and we received a number of other donations as well.

A reminder, we are looking for volunteers to deliver leaflets around areas of Saltaire, Shipley and Bingley - if you can help with that please email amy@goitstock.org.uk. Thank you!

Social media fame

Our social media team have been busy, getting in touch with some key individuals with large followings to drum up support. Yesterday, adventurer and author Alastair Humphreys shared a video about Goit Stock with his 62,000 followers!

Ceilidh - 5 September

Our ceilidh (a fun evening of live music, dancing and food) is on 5 September in at Bradford and Bingley Rugby Club. We have to provide numbers to the caterers a little while before the event, so we'll have to stop selling tickets soon - please don't delay buying your ticket. Why not bring a group of friends for a great night out? See our website for more info and to buy your tickets - there are no booking fees and all profits from the event will go to support the project.

Offline donation methods

While the easiest way to donate is definitely on our website, we are aware that not everybody can use the internet or wants to make an online payment. We can offer donations by cheque or card payments over the phone for those who prefer to pay that way. More information is on this page on our website. If you or someone you know can't use the website, you can also phone us on 01535 358101 (please leave a message if we don't answer immediately and we'll call you back as soon as possible).
