Big milestone! We're a registered charity

We hit a really important milestone this week! Friends of Goit Stock Wood was approved and registered as a charity by the Charity Commission. This means we're nearly ready to launch our big fundraising campaign - there's just one more hurdle to pass, which is for HMRC to recognise us as a charity so that we can claim Gift Aid on donations. Hopefully won't be long now!

While we wait for that, we're very busy getting our fundraising plans together. We'll be appealing to both individuals and businesses to donate. Soon we'll be arranging to deliver leaflets to all households in Cullingworth, Harden and Wilsden, and letters to all businesses in these villages but also throughout Bingley and some further afield. If you are able to spare an hour or two in mid-July to deliver leaflets or letters, please contact us.
